A Curly and A Flat!

Welcome to the Curly Flat Crew!

It really did start with a Curly and a Flat :) Simply put Curly Flat Crew refers to the two dogs who helped us start this crazy idea of a business. Briggs (Curly Coated Retriever) is owned by Alexandra and Ledger (Flat Coated Retriever) is owned by my Aunt Tina.

Aunt Tina and I fell in love with the idea of slip collars when we purchased one for the each of the boys some years ago. These slip collars were constructed using real leather, utilized only jacquard ribbon for decoration and had rhinestones adhered. Not to mention these collars were easily $100 each! Together, Tina and I found a way to re-create these collars back in 2023 using materials that allows for endless stylish designs while maintaining the functionality, durability and practically for daily use.  

Aunt Tina and I purchased our dogs back in 2020 and NO these dogs are not related. In fact they are two different sporting breeds! Over the past 5 years, we have dedicated lot of time training and competing in various dog sports with our boys.

Tina and Ledger currently are working on obtaining his AKC Senior Hunt Title.

Briggs is cheering on Alexandra as she completes her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University! 

Though this business indeed revolves around these two retrievers, we can't neglect to include the rest of the pack. In addition to Briggs, I own a Miniature Longhaired Dachshund (Millie) and Tina owns a Standard Wirehaired Dachshund (Banx - Kadell's What's In Your Wallet).
